Our Mission:
The mission of the Florence Township Fire Department is to promote, protect,
and improve the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens in our community.

OVERVIEW:
The FTFD Division of EMS currently operates with two Basic Life Support (BLS)
ambulances which are state licensed through the New Jersey State Department of
Health, and are staffed by 30 NJ State DOH Certified EMTs. We are on duty 24
hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to serve you. In 2006, EMS ran a
total of 1,421 emergency calls.
We are committed to serving you by providing:
" A level of quality service that is both effective and efficient, with the
degree of excellence that you deserve.
" Prompt response time - our goal is to respond and arrive at your door within
six minutes or less, 80 percent of the time, from the time of dispatch.
" Patient Questionnaires to help identify our strengths and weaknesses so that
we can improve our service to you.
" Community programs such as Vial of Life, Community CPR/AED, Basic First Aid
Training, Blood Pressure Screenings, and Teddy Bear Clinics.
