Tunnel to the Towers Run

On Sunday September 30th 2007, members of the Florence Township Fire Department participated in the Tunnel to Towers Run to remember the heroes from September 11, 2001. The run/walk traces the footsteps of FDNY Firefighter.Stephen Siller,  This event is held every year in late September. The money raised at this event benefits the Let Us Do Good Children's Foundation. The foundation was created to serve the needs of children who have lost one or more parents. This year the 9 participants from Florence raised $1130.00. The goal next year is to have each of the 9 participants bring someone along to double our numbers participating and to raise more money
